My goal in writing this is to show that marriage is taken too lightly and yet is something that society shoves down our throats as something we are required to do before death. I will attempt to show the causes of divorce and how we can avoid them by abstaining from marriage in the first place. It is my hope that despite the extre meness of my argument, I will be able to put marriage into perspective and show that the risk of divorce outweighs the benefits of marriage.
